WHO ARE YOU, ARNAB?
Indeed. Who is anyone? Good question.

Well, I'm "Arnie" and I am a Writers Guild and BAFTA nominated Comedy Writer, and a Senior Creative and Creative Director in advertising (currently at Sky). I began my writing career as a stand-up, and performed on shows such as Live at The Comedy Store (Comedy Central) and Russell Howard's Good News (BBC). I then ventured into other roles, such as writing for television (BBC, MTV, and ITV), as a Creative Copywriter for advertising agencies such as Mother London and Wieden and Kennedy, as an in-house Creative Director at BBC Radio 4 Comedy for three years, and a guest columnist for The Guardian. I've also had original TV Scripts optioned by Channel 4, Working Title, Steve Coogan's Baby Cow Productions, and Objective Productions. I care about craft, originality, and writing things that make me giddy.

I DETECT AN ACCENT, WHERE ARE YOU FROM?
That's really none of your goddamn business. But I was born and lived in England for 6 years (Pontefract, West Yorkshire), then lived in India for a year (Calcutta), Saudi Arabia for 8 years (Aramco), and the U.S. (CT, NC, NYC) for 8 years. Then moved to London. Still here.

WHAT DOES “ARNAB CHANDA” MEAN, ARNAB?
Well, Arnab means "Ocean" in Sanskrit and "Rabbit" in Arabic. The fact that it means "Rabbit" in Arabic is purely coincidental. My last name in Sanskrit means "Moon". So my full name literally means "Ocean Moon", which is obviously really deep and mysterious and hot.
