BBC Radio 1 Comedy Lounge

I was the Creative Director and Producer of the live comedy show on the BBC Radio 1 "Phil and Alice Show," broadcast from 10pm-Midnight, Mondays to Thursdays (hosted by Alice Levine and Phil Taggart). Starting on November 25th, 2013, Monday nights became Radio 1's new comedy night, with two stand-ups taking part in a comedy game in the famed Radio 1 "Live Lounge." The event was also being streamed live on the BBC Radio 1 website.

Leading up to the launch show were interviews with Simon Amstell and Joe Lycett, and the first night saw Carl Donnelly go up against Tom Rosenthal in a game called "Overrated." Other comedians who appeared included Katherine Ryan, Romesh Ranganathan, Seann Walsh, Phil Wang, and Sara Pascoe. We also had "Happiness Week" in January which involved some of the best Musical Comedians in the country, including The Rubber Bandits, Abandoman, and the Brett Domino Trio.
